Words of Power
You know, I went for well over 15 years without thinking of, mentioning in conversation, remembering, or otherwise acknowledging the existence of the Goonies.
Then, a few days ago I found myself discussing it, since Sean Astin was on Law & Order (a rerun) and was also here in North Carolina campaigning for Hillary (at the same time, TNT was running a Lord of the Rings Marathon).
Then, lo and behold, what's on TV today but the Goonies. Granted, it's probably on a lot during off hours, but I'd never seen it. Could it be coincidence, or is Ted Turner trolling through my IMDB hits looking for program ideas?
Now if only I could use this power for good instead of boring.
