I had a rather surreal experience of listening to NPR cover political news while I drove past the Coliseum today where Obama was, at that very moment, giving a speech. I couldn't get tickets because, well, I didn't even know that he was coming.

It's funny, with all this media coverage, you start to forget that this is an actual person we're talking about.
